HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Calling all veterans! There will be a job seminar Thursday to teach veterans — with or without disabilities — how to get an edge in applying for a federal job.
Redstone Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) and Still Serving Veterans will host a free USAJOBs workshop for Veterans called ”Navigating the Federal Hiring Process” on June 6th from 9:30-11:30am at the Huntsville/Madison County Library.
This training will give participants a competitive edge in the federal hiring process:
• They’ll gain a better understanding of the USA Staffing process and Application Manger requirements and processing.
• They’ll learn about the resume application process.
• They’ll get tips to make a resume stand out among others.
• They’ll find out about special considerations/appointment authorities in federal hiring.
The bottom line to this seminar is sharing with participants how to put together a successful federal application.
All veterans, from any era, with or without a disability are welcome. You will need to bring proof of service & your resume.
