HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The puzzle pieces of Campus 805 are coming together, especially now that a well-known brewery has opened its doors there.
Saturday marked the grand opening of the new location of Yellowhammer Brewery, with hundreds of patrons checking out its new home.
Yellowhammer's new home isn't far from its old one, but managers say its a great chance to be a part of the entertainment district forming at Campus 805.
"It brings a lot of fun things together," said Ethan Couch, general manager of the brewery. "It's great for the neighborhood, I think 35805 is really benefiting from this being a hub into downtown."
The space is shared with former food truck, Earth & Stone Wood-Fired Pizza.
"I tell everyone it's going to be an adult playground," said Stan Stinson, co-owner of the pizza restaurant. "It's going to be an opportunity to listen to music, enjoy great weather, have craft beer, craft food, just a destination place for Huntsville."
The brewery and pizza spot is open seven days a week, and even features a custom flavor of Piper and Leaf tea.
