Traffic on Hwy. 231/431 slow near Charity Lane due to wreck

HAZEL GREEN, Ala. – Southbound traffic on Highway 231/431 is slow at Charity Lane because of a wreck that happened earlier. Two SUVs collided around 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Four people were taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

The wreck involved a Ford Expedition and another SUV, and happened in front of the new Walmart.

WHNT News 19’s crew on the scene reports drivers headed southbound on 231/431 are being re-routed through the Walmart parking lot, and they can then turn back on 231/431.
