HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Mix 96.9, Mayor Tommy Battle, and the Von Braun Center announced the annual Huntsville Christmas Parade will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016.

For the first time, this year there will be two Grand Marshals for the parade. The brother and sister duo are both apart of the Make-A-Wish Alabama program. This year’s theme will be Dr. Seuss.

“This is sure to be a parade that the city of Huntsville will be talking about all year long,” Parade Coordinator Blair Davis said.

This year they will be adding a Dr. Seuss themed VIP area, performance stops throughout the route, and several other exciting features.
