Teen Indicted on Charges of Attempted Murder, Robbery, Theft

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Huntsville teenager has been indicted after police say he robbed and attempted to murder a cab driver in Nov. 2012.

The cab driver told police that then-17-year-old Dominick Lewis Everson asked her to drive to a certain location, then pulled a gun. Police told us Lewis stole the driver’s money before firing a shot at her, hitting the car’s headrest.

Everson, now 19, has been indicted on one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Robbery 1st, and two counts of Theft 1st.

Everson is also charged in connection with the 2013 death of 29-year-old Ezrhea Cherry.
