HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Just like much of the nation, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' premiered here in the Rocket City Thursday night.
A hot spot to catch the movie was the U.S. Space and Rocket Center's IMAX theater. So, it's no surprise when NASA took to social media to show that their force is pretty strong when it comes to Star Wars.

Astronauts also work alongside their own version of the beloved R2DR, the Robonaut-2 assisted them on the International Space Station. They have also tapped into galaxies far, far away with state-of-the-art telescopes a while before the force was actually awakened.
