Shots Fired at Huntsville Apartment Complex

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Several residents of a south Huntsville apartment complex had to take cover from bullets.

It happened at Renaissance Apartments on south Memorial Parkway. At about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, people in four apartment units heard bullets shattering glass and sheet rock.

By the time police arrived, the shooter was gone.

Residents say they heard about 10 shots. It's not clear who the shooter was aiming for. No one was injured.

Residents say police do believe they know who the shooter was, but as of this morning no arrest has been made.
