Sheriff’s Office asks for help to identify thieves who stole donated goods from local thrift store

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify a group of people who recently stole items from a Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Store.

Surveillance pictures show the green SUV in the parking lot of the store on Highway 231 in Meridianville on April 17.  The Sheriff’s Office says the people in the video, one heavy-set black male, a black female and two black juveniles unloaded useless items and then loaded several items that had been donated to the thrift store.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify the suspects and the green SUV.  If you have any information on this crime, please call Investigator Stamm at (256) 533-8839.
