SEATTLE, WA (WHNT) - A critical vote is expected to take place today that will determine if Huntsville still has a shot at being the home to a new $10 billion aircraft production facility.

Union members in Boeing's home state of Washington are expected to vote on a proposed labor contract that could keep the facility from moving out of the state.

Here in Alabama, state and local officials have offered Boeing an undisclosed incentive plan to move production of the 777X plane to a site near Huntsville International Airport.

The vote is expected to finish by 8 p.m. central time, and we should know the results of the vote by 9 p.m. central time.
