HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person has died and another was injured in a shooting in Huntsville on Sunday.
18-year-old Silus DeQuann Harris has been arrested and charged with murder in this case. He was taken to the Madison County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
Officers with the Huntsville Police were called to Seminole Drive and 8th Avenue before 8 p.m.
HEMSI emergency crews took two patients to the hospital. One person was pronounced dead at the hospital. Huntsville Police say the second person has non-life-threatening injuries.
HPD said they believe an argument led to the shooting.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this time while investigators work to notify the victim’s next of kin.
