Man killed in Sunday morning shooting, Huntsville Police investigating

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Huntsville Police said a man was killed after a shooting early Sunday morning.

Officers stated they were called to the Beaumont Place Apartments in the 3300-block of Bob Wallace around 1:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found a gunshot victim.

Authorities said Rashuad Cisero Greenwood was taken to the hospital and died as a result of his injuries.

Police added they believe the shooting was related to a marijuana transaction, as they stated they found marijuana, scales, and other related items in the apartment.

Investigators stated they are working on leads into the shooter’s identity.
