Man Caught Breaking Into Terry Heights Elementary

HUNTSVILLE, Al. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police arrested a man for breaking into Terry Heights Elementary School.

Officials caught 50-year-old Preston Vaughn allegedly trying to steal copper piping from the school building around 10 p.m. last night.

They say the school security guard noticed Vaughn in the building, then called Huntsville Police.

Police arrested Vaughn and charged him with third-degree burglary. He is in the Madison County jail on $15,000 bond.
