MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Updated 10:42am Wednesday: Crews from Norfolk Southern have finished work on the railroad crossing on Moores Mill Road, and will now move to Jordan Road.

Please slow down when you cross the Moores Mill tracks – the crossing is still rough.  Crews will return in a few weeks to smooth out the approach.

Crews will now move to Jordan Road, and then to Ryland Pike and maybe onto Dug Hill Road.  Crews work Sunday through Wednesday, so should be no interruption of commuter traffic this Thursday or Friday.

Norfolk Southern is making repairs to the crossing along tracks from Moores Mill Road all the way to Gurley over the next several weeks.
