HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Police and administrators with Huntsville City Schools are investigating a drawing in a restroom at Huntsville High School.
A parent notified WHNT News 19 about this after speaking with the principal, who confirmed school leaders are taking this seriously. Police and school officials both confirm they are investigating the matter.
Lt. Stacy Bates, spokesperson for the Huntsville Police Department, confirms school resource officers were made aware of the drawing, a very small depiction of what looks like a gun. It also had tomorrow’s date, 9-15-16. It was in a bathroom stall.
Keith Ward, Huntsville City Schools, said regardless of whether or not the drawing is a gag, if the person responsible is caught, he or she will be punished.
