Bailey Cove Library to host meet and greet with District 3 candidates Monday evening

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Municipal Elections for Huntsville City are quickly approaching and voters will elect new leaders in three of Huntsville districts on August 26th.

More than a dozen candidates are running for City Council and School Board seats.

On Monday night, voters will have a chance to meet some of those candidates.

All the candidates from District 3, southeast Huntsville, will be in attendance.

The event will take place at the Bailey Cove Library which is located on Weatherly Plaza just off Bailey Cove Road.

The Friends of the Library is hosting the even beginning at 6:30 p.m.

There will be no debate, but visitors will have a chance to speak one-on-one with candidates.
