HUNTSVILLE, Ala, (WHNT) – Huntsville Police officers are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday afternoon on the 2900-block of Wilson Drive.

Officials say that the shooting is believed to have happened around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. It happened on the corner of Triana Boulevard and Holmes Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
