Homeowners Robbed at Gunpoint

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police are investigating an early morning home invasion in Huntsville.

Just after 1 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 500-block of Lisa Lane near Mastin Lake Road in north Huntsville. Police say two men wearing T-shirts over their faces kicked in the door.

Once they were inside, police say they held the homeowners at gunpoint. Several items in the home were taken.

The men then ran east from the home toward Academy Drive. Several officers search the area, including a K9 team.

No arrests have been made. The homeowners were not injured.
