HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Harlem Globetrotters will be spreading joy Sunday, January 10 at the Von Braun Center.  The team is in its 90th season and players say they have all kinds of special things planned for their fans, young and old.

"We might come into the stands and eat your concession. You never know what's going to happen with that," says Globetrotter player Zeus McClurkin.

McClurkin dropped by WHNT News 19 on Monday. He's here for a few appearances to help promote the team's visit. He also visited the Southeast Family YMCA later in the day to meet with kids spending time there while school is out.

The team's antics will likely surprise you, but one thing won't. The Globetrotters hope to provide a little inspiration, too. "A lot of times, we're kids first introduction to the game of basketball. What we show everyone is that you don't have to be this mean, demonstrative person to be successful in basketball.  You can have a good time out there and have the greatest winning percentage of all time," said McClurkin.

The Globetrotters game is set for 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 10th at the Von Braun Center Arena. There are tickets still available.

The team will also perform at Flowers Hall at the University of North Alabama in Florence on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.
