Girlfriend Stabs Man with Kitchen Knife After Altercation

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A domestic argument turned violent after a woman stabbed her boyfriend three times in the chest and once in the shoulder with a kitchen knife, according to police.

Huntsville police say Fredrick James Edge, 41, got into an argument with his girlfriend on Thursday afternoon at a home on the 3300 block of Helena Dr.  During the argument, the two began destroying each other’s personal property.

Police say the dispute escalated when Edge’s girlfriend got a kitchen knife and stabbed him four times.

Edge was transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Edge’s girlfriend fled the scene before police arrived.  Police are still investigating.
