OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (WHNT) – Several hundred people turned out for Micah Brown’s funeral where family, friends and the community said goodbye to the 5-year-old.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Micah at Whitesburg Baptist Church.

People who attended were encouraged by the family to wear the color blue because it was Micah’s favorite color. He also enjoyed wearing rubber rain boots.  So, his family also said it was perfectly acceptable for people to wear rain boots to the funeral as well.

Micah died Monday in a wreck after the Yukon SUV he and his family were in collided with an 18-wheeler on Old Highway 431 on Monday.

His mother Ryann was driving the SUV at the time of the wreck.  Three other children were also inside of the vehicle.

Eight-year-old Rebekah Brown is still in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital.  Nine-year-old Sarah Brown was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham where she too is in critical condition. Youngest daughter Noelle was released from the hospital Tuesday.  Ryann was also released Tuesday.
