WWII veterans returns home from commemorative trip to France

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A group of WWII veterans are returning home to Alabama after a Forever Young Senior Veterans trip.

They were flown to France to commemorate 75 years since the D-Day invasion.

People wore red, white, and blue and brought flags to give the group a warm welcome home.

The trip included Sherwin Callander, George Mills, 102-year-old Major Wooten, and Harold McMurran.
