HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Expect to see some smoke in the Huntsville air Sunday. The Huntsville Fire-Rescue Training Division will conduct a live fire training exercise.

The training exercise will take place in a donated structure located at 663 Martin Road., and will involve several fire units. Firefighters will meet around 9:00 Sunday morning to start the fire. The actual burn operation will start at 10:30 A.M.

During the training exercise nearby residents may see black smoke in the area coming from that structure.

The drill will continue until the house is on the ground and as much of the fire is extinguished as possible. When the exercise is over, the structure is expected to burn out completely from the fire.
