HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – An outdoor warning siren in the City of Huntsville has been repaired after it was reported malfunctioning Monday morning.

In an automated voice call Monday afternoon, the Huntsville-Madison County EMA reported that the outdoor warning siren at University Drive and Research Park had been repaired.

In a Nixle alert Monday morning, they had said the outdoor siren at University Drive and Research Park would only sound during alerts, but it wouldn’t rotate. According to the EMA, the siren had stopped in one position.
