A domestic situation in Huntsville escalated to an arson case Wednesday night. Police arrested a man who allegedly set a bed on fire inside an apartment.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. at Hunter's Ridge apartments on Hunter's Ridge Drive.

Neighbors called 911 when they saw smoke coming from an upstairs apartment.  When crews arrived on scene, they quickly removed a chair and bedding from the unit.  Two units were damaged, and power was disconnected to the entire building for safety reasons.  The fire displaced two people.  No one was hurt.

Adrain Beasley, 26, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and burglary.
