HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Crews with Huntsville Utilities continue their work to restore power in different areas of Madison County.

As of 3:45 p.m. the utility estimates about 500 customers are without power. Most outages are in the community of Brownsboro/Maysville, New Market, Green Mountain and atop Monte Sano.

Check the outage map to see the different areas.  Crews are working to get to these areas a quickly and as safely as possible.  Many involved power poles, fallen trees and power lines, which is slowing down the effort to get to each spot.

If you see a downed power line, please stay away. Do NOT approach it.  Call 256-53-LIGHT (5-4448) to report it.
