CASA Holds ‘A Night in the Garden 2013’

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Care Assurance System for the Aging or Homebound, or CASA, is holding its second annual “A Night in the Garden” event on Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

Benefiting CASA of Madison County, A Night in the Garden features an evening of local feasting and fun with a wine and beer tasting, cooking demonstrations, and live music and dancing.

A local Huntsville band, .45 Surprise, will provide the music for festivities. Lyn’s Gracious Goodness will provide the food and do cooking demonstrations.

There will be a raffle for a chance to win some amazing prizes from local shops such as Cotton Cottage, Harrison Brothers, and 202 Couture.  Tickets for the raffle are $5 each.

There will be an opportunity for individuals or families to sponsor a row in the CASA Garden for $50.  The row will have the sponsor’s name for one year.

All proceeds benefit CASA of Madison County.  All CASA services are provided at no cost to their elderly clients.  Without community support, CASA cannot continue to provide service to the elderly to keep them safe and independent in their own homes.
