HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Fire officials say everyone made it out of a vehicle that crashed into a pond at Brahan Spring Park, right off Drake Avenue, Monday evening.
A hazmat team came to the scene to help control any fuel that may leak into the pond. They tell WHNT News 19 that only a small amount of fuel leaked, and was contained quickly.
Police say there were no injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police believe the driver somehow lost control and drove toward the pond. That person was able to get out before the vehicle floated further into the pond.
