HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Officials confirmed that a body was found on Colonial Park Circle near The American Legion Wednesday morning.
HEMSI spokesperson, Don Webster told News 19 that a call came in around 8:30 a.m. When emergency crews arrived, they discovered a dead body near the woods.
Huntsville Police said the body was found in a tent and they believe the person was homeless. Officials added they do not expect foul play at this time and the death does not appear suspicious.
The Madison County Coroner and HPD are working to identify the individual, officials told News 19.
