Authorities arrest 6, seize guns & over $40,000 in county-wide drug bust

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. – Huntsville Police arrested six people in a county-wide drug bust Tuesday.

Information released Thursday by Huntsville Police shows Raymond Woods, Felicia Woods, Rona Woods, Marshall Suggs, Adrian Hambrick, and Brandy Nicholas were arrested during the investigation.

Huntsville Police said on Dec. 9, a combined narcotics investigation carried out by the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) and the Madison County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Team resulted in four search warrants being served at homes throughout Madison County, including the 100 block of Tellico Ridge Road in New Market, the 700 block of Iris Lane, the 5000 block of Ortega Drive and the 1100 block of Oster Drive in Huntsville.

The people arrested had a variety of charges, including: Trafficking in Cocaine, Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Receiving Stolen Property, and Tampering with Evidence.

Police said they found marijuana, over six ounces of cocaine, seven handguns, one assault rifle, and over $40,000.
