HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Two Lee High School students are being questioned about an incident that happened Friday morning before classes started.
Two 11th grade girls were in the cafeteria and got in an argument. They are related, according to Huntsville City Schools spokesman Keith Ward, and were arguing about a family issue. One pulled out a pen and jabbed the other girl in the forehead.
A school resource officer was nearby and broke up the fight quickly. Ward said the whole incident lasted about a minute.
HEMSI paramedics responded and treated the girl’s head injury, but did not transport her.
The incident is under investigation, including what punishment the girls face.
