MONROEVILLE, Ala. – The town invites you to watch live as they read Harper Lee’s “Go Set a Watchman.” In addition to the reading, the town is taking on the feel of the book’s setting, 60 years ago.

Vintage cars and trucks are being parked around the courthouse, where around 250 fans of Lee’s first novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” are there for the marathon reading of “Watchman.”

Those who participate will receive a reader’s certificate and those who purchase a $20 family membership at the library will get a hand fan with the cover of the novel on it.
