FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – A grand jury in Lincoln County has indicted a 19-year-old on several charges related to a young man’s recent death.

The grand jury indicted Austin Lockard on the following:

  • One count of vehicular homicide
  • One count of reckless homicide
  • Two counts of failure to render aid

The charges were affirmed Tuesday.  The indictments mean Lockard will now stand trial in the death of Bradley Durham.

Durham, 21, was found dead the night of August 19 on the side of Highway 110 between Johnson Road and Childress Road, just over the state line.  He lived nearby.

A 17-year-old from Hazel Green was initially charged in the case, but the judge dropped his charges at a hearing in November.
