Some jokes just fall flat. Not surprising really… if it’s a joke about a terrorist attack on an airline.

As CBS News and the Associated Press report, a 14-year-old Dutch girl “learned that the hard way when she was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening American Airlines in a tweet.”

The incident began Sunday, when the following showed up on America Airlines’s Twitter page: “Hello my name’s Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I’m part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I’m going to do something really big bye.”

American responded quickly, warning the poster her “IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI.”

That apparently freaked out the poster, who responded “omfg I was kidding.”

The girl reportedly later turned herself into police in Rotterdam. It’s not clear if she’ll face charges.
