Tired of trying to cut through the political spin and figure out what The Affordable Care Act – also called Obamacare – actually does? How it will impact employers and citizens? How it will be paid for?

Here’s some good news. The answers you seek are available in cartoon form! The non-profit, non-partisan, Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation has produced a video called “The YouToons Get Ready for Obamacare” describing the health insurance changes coming our way. Check it out below.

The video was written and produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation. It is also narrated by Charlie Gibson, former anchor of ABC’s World News with Charlie Gibson and a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Creative production and animation was done by Free Range Studios.

A Spanish-language version of the video is available here.

The YouToons first appeared in the 2010 animated movie, “Health Reform Hits Main Street,” which explained how the health reform law would work.
