Eating is a part of our daily routine.  We have breakfast, lunch and dinner, and sometimes a snack or two.  But that's not the case for one woman.

In fact, she barely eats normal food at all.  Kenya Jones is struggling with a mental health disorder that causes her to eat some strange things.

Every day, Jones eats large amounts of cornstarch directly out of the box.

"I eat at least four boxes of this cornstarch right here," Jones said. "I cooks it up but sometimes I eat it powdered."

It's a problem that started years ago.  Now, it's affecting Jones' health and spiraling out of control.

"I be dizzy, light-headed. My skin be peeling. I have bad headaches. It makes me feel bad, I know it," Jones tells us. "I know I'm feeling bad. I wake up with real bad headaches. I have to... I just can't stop. It's hard to let go."

One big reason Kenya can't seem to get this issue under control - YouTube.  There's a channel where she posts videos of herself eating cornstarch.

Can Kenya quit the cornstarch?  Will she finally get professional help?

WHNT News 19 is Taking Action to spotlight this relatively rare disorder for others who may be struggling with the same problem.
