MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – All the rain we’ve had in the last day left problems for drivers.  Some main roads are closed.

In Morgan County, WHNT News 19’s Al Whitaker reports a portion of Danville Road, about a quarter of a mile north of Highway 36, is closed due to a large hole in the road. You can use Johnson Chapel Road as a detour.

Forrest Chapel Road, near Hartselle, is closed indefinitely.  The ground under part of the road has washed away, creating a huge hole.  Trucks are blocking traffic from the road.

In the city of Madison, and Madison County, these roads are still affected:

  • Monroe Road
  • Mill Road between County Line and Balch Road
  • Palmer Road between Palmer and Tribble Roads
  • Old Railroad Bed Road from Baites Road to Herbert Clark Road
