Three arrested on immigration charges in Decatur

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Decatur Police and Homeland Security agents arrested three people after serving a drug search warrant Tuesday morning.

They went to a home in the 1200 block of Broadus Avenue around 10:30 a.m.   Decatur Police’s Anti-Crime Unit and Organized Crime Unit assisted Homeland Security on the call.

They arrested three people for immigrations violations.  Other charges are pending.

The three people were taken to DeKalb County, where the closest ICE detainment facility is located.
