MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. – The third person charged with the 2011 felony murders of two Krystal employees entered a guilty plea Wednesday.

Cassandra Eldred, 26, of Decatur entered a guilty plea the felony murders of Jeffery Graff and Jessie Aguilar, Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson said. She was sentenced by a judge to life in prison.

“We are pleased that Ms. Eldred decided to accept responsibility for her actions and enter a plea of guilty. While nothing will ever be able to bring back Jeff Graff or Jessie Aguilar, it does mean something that the families of these two hard working men will not have to endure another trial,” Anderson said.

Anderson said Eldred accepted $200 in cash to drive Creque and Gholston to and from the Krystal, but denied knowing that anyone would be killed during the robbery.

Eldred was the third and final person charged in this case. Jordaan Creque and Ezekial Gholston were also charged and convicted in this case.  Creque was sentenced to death. Gholston was found guilty of two counts of felony murder in Feb. and will be sentenced next month.
