DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Antonio Marques Lampkin, 19, is in jail for the second time in 2016, this time held with no bond.

Officials say just after 7:30 Sunday evening, police responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of Danville Road in Decatur.

Marcus Wallace was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital, then to Huntsville Hospital, according to police.

Wallace and the woman that was in the car with him identified Lampkin as the shooter. Lampkin was out on bond for charges stemming from a January shooting.

Lampkin left the scene before investigators arrived, but he was taken into custody just after midnight.

He is charged with Assault and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle.
