SPEAKE, Ala. (WHNT) – A woman has lost her life after a two vehicle wreck in Lawrence County.
Tabitha Blelew, 28, of Danville died at Huntsville Hospital around 6:30 p.m.
It happened around 4:30 this afternoon at the intersection of Highway 157 and Highway 36 in the Speake community.
The woman’s jeep collided with a service truck, trapping her inside the vehicle.
After first responders freed the woman she was flown by medical helicopter to Huntsville Hospital.
Paramedics treated the driver of the truck for minor injuries at the scene.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
