PUMPKIN CENTER, Ala. (WHNT) – Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on drug charges Monday night and are looking for a second man.

It happened at a home on Roberts Road in Pumpkin Center around 6:30 p.m.

Deputies say they went looking for Timothy Wayne Brown.  Brown wasn’t at the home but Darrell Bruce Reeves was.  Falkville Police had warrants out for Reeves after they say he led them on a high-speed chase earlier Monday afternoon.

Deputies told WHNT News 19 they found materials used to make meth inside the home.  Drug Task Force agents responded to the scene and found a one-pot meth lab and five ounces of liquid meth.

Reeves is charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, trafficking in meth, and felony drug paraphernalia.  Deputies say they are still looking for Brown.

Deputies say Brown will face the same charges once he is found.

Reeves is being held on a $1,275,000 bond.
