LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Sheriff's deputies arrested one man and are searching for another in connection with an early morning home invasion investigation.  They are also looking for two women to be involved.

Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely says the call came in around 1:30 a.m. Deputies responded to a home on Segers Road.

Sheriff Blakely says two men were in the home with three women when two other men entered the home. Sheriff Blakely says one of the men used a gun to strike one of the men already in the home in the head.

The sheriff says the owner of the home fought back by beating one of the alleged trespassers with a pool cue.  Sheriff Blakely says deputies arrested one of the alleged trespassers as he tried to get help from a resident in the nearby Cobblestone neighborhood.

Captain Stanley McNatt identified that man as Wendell Hyter.  Hyter, 22, of Harvest, faces burglary charges.  He is jailed on $10,000 bond.

Deputies are looking for the man who had the gun.  They say he is a tall black male, and has a street name of "B."  He may be with two women who were in the home.

The homeowner and the other man were hospitalized.  Sheriff Blakely says both men suffered cuts to their heads.
