HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Last year the Fourth of July fireworks display at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center was a flop due to faulty wiring, but this year promises to be a booming success.
Officials say crews have been busy getting an early start on setting up the show and say it will be the biggest display in north Alabama.
The cost is $20 per car but there are only a few hundred tickets left. You can purchase a ticket by going to the front counter at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center on July 4.
The fireworks begin at 9:00 PM and will be accompanied by music. There will be food and water at the Davidson Center but you are asked to bring your camping chairs and blankets.
Police will not allow anyone to pull off I-565 and traffic enforcement will be in place around the Space and Rocket Center.
