‘Cyber Intrusion’ Reported on Alabama’s Information Services Division

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WHNT) – Leaders of the Alabama Department of Homeland Security will hold a news conference in Montgomery Tuesday afternoon to reveal details about cyber intrusion against a state department.

The recent attack was on Alabama’s Information Services Division.

Authorities responded immediately to it and at 2:30 p.m. today, they’ll describe what they did.

Spencer Collier, the Director of Alabama’s Department of Homeland Security, will speak on the matter, along with Jack Doane, the Director of the Alabama Information Services Division.
