Construction continues on Highway 231 in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. – The work on Highway 231 in Laceys Spring is now in its eighth week of construction.

On Wednesday morning, crews plan to set bridge girders.

ALDOT says crews work around the clock— 7 days a week— to make the road’s reopening December 2nd.

The bridge construction— which began last month— will cost around 14.6 million dollars.
