EVA, Ala. (WHNT) - The Morgan County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who robbed Premier Bank around 1:30 p.m.  The bank is closed as deputies search the scene.

Sheriff Ana Franklin said the man who robbed the bank drove off in a black Kia Sorento.  Deputies are checking the surveillance footage now to see if the man may be connected to other recent bank robberies.

During the robbery, the man wore a white jacket and black ski mask.

A deputy wrecked his vehicle at Highway 67 and Water Tower Road, hydroplaning on the slick roadway as he tried to chase the bank robber.  The deputy wrecked into another car.  Sheriff Franklin said no one was seriously hurt.
