Alert expanded statewide for missing senior from Decatur who has Alzheimer’s

DECATUR, Ala. — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a Missing Senior Alert for James Robert Elliott.

Authorities say he was last seen on October 11. Elliott was wearing blue jeans and a brown shirt. Officials say he may be driving a 1998 black Ford Explorer with Alabama tag number 52A44Z1.

Elliott was last seen leaving his home in on 11th Avenue NW in Decatur.

Decatur Police asked for the public’s help locating Elliott earlier this week. The ALEA alert is distributed across the state.
