Decatur man arrested after suspicious loitering in a gas station parking lot

DECATUR, Ala. – The Decatur Police Department responded to a call on September 9th around 5:15 p.m. from the Central Dispatch concerning two people sitting in a parked vehicle at Marathon on Hwy 31 that were possibly under the influence of drugs.

According to authorities, when officers arrived on the scene they made contact with the subjects in a Chevrolet pickup truck.  The driver was identified as Billy Dewayne McMillan.

During the course of the investigation, detectives found McMillan in possession of glass meth pipes, marijuana pipes, and Methamphetamine.

McMillan was arrested by the Decatur Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Billy Dewayne McMillan is now being held at the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,000 bond.
