HUNTSVILLE, AL-The Huntsville High Crimson Panthers are looking to to past the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2008. But to go deeper in the postseason, they'll have to do it without two of the best players in the entire state last season.

Linebacker Cameron Toney and Offensive Lineman Grant Hill now play at Auburn and Alabama respectively.

But the Panthers do have some veteran talent returning on offense. All State Running Back Deonte Moore is back, plus Senior Quarterback Brewer Hicklen.

Head Coach Scott Sharp says the key to a long postseason run in 2013 is a balanced attack from that offense. Especially on the ground.

Here's the lowdown on Huntsville. As mentioned, Running Back Deonte Moore is the key returner following 1,500 yards on the ground last year. The Panthers are coming off a 7-4 campaign in 2012, good enough for third place in Region 7. They'll open the season at Sparkman, August 30.
