MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — Electric crews are working to restore power in Madison County after severe weather passed through the service area.

Crews have successfully restored service to the areas of Meridianville, Gurley, Northwest & Northeast Huntsville, Harvest and Northwest Madison County.

Power will be restored as quickly as possible, weather permitting. Crews advise the public that if wires are down to please stay away from them.

Although the outages are scattered, the largest section still without service is Keel Mountain Road. High winds left trees, utility equipment, and storm debris across Keel Mountain Road. Crews will work until service is restored to all affected customers.

To report any service outages call 256-53-LIGHT (5-4448).
